Thanks for all the great pics of some very beautiful and familier countryside and some unfamilier city scenes. I was there in 1969, starting at Tam Ky( just south of Da Nang), guarding a Hwy.1 bridge-the railroad bridge had not been rebuilt since the Tet Offensive the previous year. It was still a ruined hulk collapsed into the river, but took the brunt of an explosive meant for the highway bridge the Tet I was there. Never got to any cities, just villages. Does it still smell green?
