Quatorze de Catorce

Last night saw the opening of my first-ever photography exhibition. It got a lot of positive feedback and was described by one observer as “fresh.” The photos of the donkeys and the dog were given top props, as it seems most people prefer animals over abstractions.

Putting the show together was a ton of work and cost a lot of money, but I’m dying to try it again with the whole process in mind while I’m shooting, and not as an afterthought.

The show itself was a direct result of having started this mostly-photo blog and the continuing odyssey that is the Photo du Jour, as 13 of the 14 the photos in the show appeared as such, and appear here again in reprise.
