The RATP is renovating some of the stops along the western end of the Metro line 1. The removal of the façades has revealed old posters from (among others) Fellini’s 8 1/2 and Nicolas Ray’s 55 Days at Peking (A handful of men and women held out against the frenzied hordes of bloodthirsty fanatics!) from 1963. And we think the one at the bottom dates to the German occupation.
